WHAT IS AN EPC?
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a legal requirement for anyone selling or renting a property. It shows how energy efficient the property is, with a rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient), and includes recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce energy costs.

EPCs are valid for 10 years and must be carried out by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.

How It Works
A qualified assessor will visit your property to carry out a short survey (approx. 30 minutes). Once complete, your EPC will be uploaded to the national government register, where it remains valid for 10 years.

If you're renting out a property:
